What 1729 keeps about you, where it lives and who can see it

Last updated Oct 10, 2026

1What we collect

From Vaaya, when you sign in: your Vaaya email address and the name on your Vaaya account. They identify you on 1729. Your email is never shown to other people.

What you add: your seller profile (handle, display name, headline, about text, categories and links), your listings, your orders and the notes on them, your proof references and receipt uploads (PNG, JPG, WEBP or PDF, up to 4 MB), reports you file, and the reasons you give for cancellations and disputes.

What 1729 generates: in-app notifications about your orders, the timeline of each order (who did what, and when), the time you first signed in and were last seen, and the admin audit trail (which admin took which moderation action).

Vercel, which hosts 1729, keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and browser) for a short time to run the service. 1729 does not use them to profile you.

2What we do not collect

  • Passwords. Sign-in happens on vaaya.ai; 1729 never sees or stores a password
  • Card numbers or bank details. Adding funds happens on Vaaya's checkout; 1729 never sees payment details
  • Vaaya tokens, outside your browser. The tokens that let 1729 read your Vaaya account are held only in an encrypted cookie in your browser and are never stored anywhere else
  • Analytics or advertising data. There are no trackers on 1729

3Where it lives

1729 runs on Vercel. Your documents and uploaded receipts are stored in a private Vercel Blob store in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your data is transferred there.

Money stays with Vaaya. Your balance, payment history and card are held by Vaaya under Vaaya's own privacy policy. 1729 reads your balance and recent activity through Vaaya's API while you are signed in and keeps no copy.

4Who sees what

  • Everyone, signed in or not: your seller profile (handle, display name, headline, about text, categories and links) and your published listings. Order progress is public too: on each order page and the live activity feed anyone can see the listing, the amount, each step of the order and when it happened, and whether it came through the agent API or the website. The buyer's identity, notes, payment references and receipts are never shown publicly. A seller's record shows their settled jobs with amounts, dates and ratings
  • The other party of an order: the buyer and the seller of an order each see the order, its terms, notes, timeline and proof of payment, including the uploaded receipt. The seller sees the buyer's display name, not the buyer's email
  • Admins: see everything, including email addresses, for moderation and dispute resolution. Every admin action is written to the audit trail

1729 does not sell your data, does not share it with anyone else, and shows no advertising.

5Retention

Your account is kept while you use 1729. Orders and their proofs are kept while the order can still be disputed, and for a period after it ends so that a dispute can be reviewed. The exact windows are not set yet and will be published here before public launch.

Removed listings are kept, hidden, as a moderation record. The audit trail is kept by month. Only your most recent notifications are kept.

6Cookies

1729 sets two cookies, both HttpOnly and only on this site:

  • 1729-session: your sign-in, encrypted, for up to 60 days
  • 1729-signin: only during the sign-in handshake with Vaaya, for 10 minutes

Nothing for tracking, analytics or advertising, and no third-party cookies.

7Your choices

  • Sign out: clears the session cookie in this browser. Signing out everywhere also revokes 1729's access at Vaaya
  • Disconnect from Vaaya: revoke 1729's access in your Vaaya account. Every 1729 session ends the next time it checks with Vaaya
  • Change your name: change it on Vaaya. 1729 picks it up the next time it checks your Vaaya account
  • Ask for deletion: contact us (section 8) and we remove your profile, listings and personal details. Records of orders that can still be disputed, and anything the law requires us to keep, stay until that period ends

8Contact

Questions about your data, or a deletion request: reach the 1729 team through Vaaya at vaaya.ai. A direct address for 1729 will be published here before launch.
